The thing about the Renault Zoe is that it doesn't try to look or feel futuristic, as per BMW i3. It's just a normal, cheap hatchback that seeks to be just a car that happens to have an electric motor.
It achieves this aim magnificently. And is £10k cheaper than an i3.

So that's what one of those is. I saw one the other day and thought it was electric, but I hadn't heard of them before.
Those are the headlights the Clio should have had.

My dad and I found that this (rather cheap-feeling) door handle that features the designer's thumbprint is actually slightly annoying in that it will invariably trap your fingers as you let go of it.
I liked the way it drove at town speeds, though. And the pretend noise!

That reminds me of the Taratino-produced French flick.

Yes, ever since Alfa invented hidden handles everyone's at it. How about the pretend noises in the Clio 200 Turbo!

Is it based on the Leaf?

I wonder if the Reinastella is the one used in the Zoe?
I can see how that would be fun to play with, but ultimately it's a gimmick that means Renault are admitting they can't make an exciting engine noise with this turbo lump...
